Clonal Micropropagation of Cymbidium erythrostylum Rolfe

Cymbidium erythrostylum Rolfe is one of the most beautiful species genus cymbidium which used as a cut flower or indoor plant. However, it was registered rare even in its original habitat. This study carried out to develop protocol for vitro propagation C. erythrostilum. We protosomes obtained by asymbiotic germination seed on 1/2 Murashige and Skoog nutrient medium (MS) supplemented with 1 mg/L 2-Isopentenyl adenine (2iP) objects study. During multiplication stage, number formed culture containing 0.8 6-Benzylaminopurine (6-BAP) higher (3.8 ± 0.2 protosomes). subsequent cultivation ½ MS 2 6-BAP 0.5 a-naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA), highest numbers shoots (4.00 0.19 shoots/plantlet) leaves (4.50 0.14 leaves/plantlet) were obtained. At rooting stage under conditions, effective use addition indolyl-3-butyric IBA, g/l charcoal, 50 banana puree. The plants successfully adapted substrate consisting bark, perlite, peat ratio 1:1:1.
